Phaelanopsis Orchid Planter
A beautiful, locally grown Phalaenopsis Orchid plant comes potted in a modern ceramic container. Your orchid will be dressed with Ontario foraged moss and a birch branch. An orchid plant makes a lovely gift for most occasions. Each orchid plant is kept in its plastic grower’s pot and set inside a decorative ceramic planter. This presentation not only looks beautiful but it also supports the plant’s need for snug roots.

Your orchid will be securely and sustainably packaged in an open faced box with tissue paper (and a protective plastic covering in cold temperatures) for plant delivery throughout the GTA & Toronto.
Care tips:
• Light: Bright, indirect light is best. Keep out of direct sun to prevent leaf burn.
• Water: Water every 7 - 10 days by removing the orchid plant with its inner plastic pot and letting water drain completely before placing it back in the ceramic planter. Never let the roots sit in water.
• Humidity: Orchids love a bit of humidity - mist lightly or place near a humidifier if the air is dry.
• Temperature: Prefers 65-80 degrees F (18-27 degrees C). Avoid cold drafts or sudden temperature shifts.
• Pro tip: When you spot the last flower ready to die, count down three nodes—the bumps on the spike—and use sterilized clippers to cut the end of the flower spike off. This will encourage new flower branches to grow from the lower nodes of the spike. Be patient, it may take a few months to begin to flower!

Note: We keep orchids in their plastic grower’s pot inside the ceramic planter intentionally—orchids thrive in a compact root environment with good airflow and drainage, so this setup is both stylish and plant-friendly.
